Level 1 Coach

Level One Coach is for individuals who coach, or hope to coach, a team at the community level, where the team only practices seasonally and has a recreational level of commitment. This is a two-day course, which is held virtually via the Zoom platform.

Friday, March 14th, 5:00 - 10:00pm

Saturday, March 15th, 9:00am - 6:00pm

Fee: $230.00 + HST

There are no prerequisites for this course, however, there are additional courses and certificates that must be obtained before or after this course, in order to become fully certified by Dragon Boat Canada:

1. Successful completion of the Homework Assignment (provided during the course)

2. Successful completion of your Pleasure Craft Operators License. Go to MyBoatCard.com and use the code DRAGON60 to receive the DBC rate.

3. Successful completion of Level C, First Aid & CPR. Must be an in-person course, but can be through any provider.

4. Successful completion of the online course, Safe Sport. Go to Safe Sport to complete the free online course.

Participants will receive the Zoom information and the manual for this course, approximately 48-hours prior to the course date.
